A SHOPKEEPER who had closed his shop on Railway Road, Blackburn, was punched through the window of his car after being approached by a drunken female.
Blackburn magistrates heard that Tina Doreen Walker grabbed his sister by the hair when she tried to intervene.
Walker, 23, of Fielding Crescent, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to threatening behaviour.
The case was adjourned for the preparation of a pre-sentence report. Two charges of assault were dismissed after the prosecution offered no evidence.
Michael Blacklidge, defending, said the dispute ended up outside the Boulevard police station.
And it was Walker who actually rang the bell.
"There was a verbal altercation involving both parties and the police had to separate them," said Mr Blacklidge.
