A MAN has appeared before Blackburn magistrates on dud cheque offences which the prosecution say involve property worth over £30,000.
Justin Coe, 38, of Billinge Side, Blackburn, is charged with deception charges involving £1,557 from Melvin Meakin, £5,875 from Poulton Landscapes, £1,727 from Glen Castings, £2,220 from BM Furniture, and £1,257 from MS Upholstery.
Isla Chilton, prosecuting, said there was a schedule of 15 offences to be taken into consideration and the prosecution allege that Coe has benefited to the tune of £30,000.
Coe was ordered to stand trial at Preston Crown Court and was remanded on bail for the preparation of committal papers.
