IGHTENHILL Primary School has been rewarded for its "dynamic and progressive" arts programme.
The school, in Alder Street, won the Artsmark accolade from the prestigious Arts Council England, which rewards schools that demonstrate a strong commitment to developing art schemes.
The school joins nearly 1,500 which have been awarded the mark.
