A GLIMPSE of what Blackburn will look like in the future has gone on display at the town's visitor centre.
The 1:1000 scale model is the centre piece of an exhibition about town centre regeneration.
It includes recent and proposed developments that are contributing to change and will evolve as more development takes place.
Council bosses hope that building owners and developers will sponsor their projects to be added to the model.
To celebrate the launch of the new exhibition at the centre in Church Street and to mark National Architecture Week, a series of work 'inspired by architecture' from fine art students at Blackburn College will also be on show until Saturday.
Empty office space on the first and second floor has been converted into a temporary gallery.
Coun Alan Cottam, executive member for regeneration, said: "This is a very useful exhibition that will give a full picture of what we can expect while work is ongoing."
