FOUR cars had their tyres slashed in two communities.
In the last two weeks, vandals struck vehicles in the Lammack and Beardwood areas of Blackburn.
The latest incident occurred on Heartwood Close where two tyres on a silver Vauxhall Zafira were slashed.
Police believe the offence happened in the early hours of the morning between Tuesday, June 5 and Thursday, June 7.
Other cars have been targeted in Kingfisher Close, Blackburn, on May 31, where two cars were damaged. Vehicles were also damaged in Quebec Road, between May 22 and 23 and Heartwoodwood Close, between June 5 and 6.
Officers are investigating the incidents and are appealing for help in finding who was responsible.
PC Duncan Park said: "On each occasion, two tyres were slashed.
"All of these offences appear to have occurred in the early hours of the morning and it is important that we identify who was responsible as soon as possible.
"I advise car owners to be extra vigilant and to report anything suspicious to the police immediately."
