A MAN made subject to an anti-social behaviour order two years ago was described in court as a "success story."
Blackburn magistrates heard that Robert Edward Bibby, 23, was doing so well that the police were happy for conditions on the order to be released so he could enjoy a social life.
"Put quite simply he seems to have changed his ways," said Peter Wild, prosecuting. "He has done two years of the order and the police are impressed."
The court agreed to remove a condition that prevented Bibby from entering licensed premises and also lifted a condition which prevented him from entering Clitheroe where he has family.
"The aim is to allow him a social life," said Mr Wild.
Sian Hall, defending, said the report prepared by the police was extremely favourable.
"He represents one of those success stories we see all too rarely," said Miss Hall. "He is holding down a full time job and the police have been very impressed with the way he has turned his life around."
