Leeds and Liverpool canal near Lomeshaye Road in Nelson
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a boat fire in Nelson last night.
At 6.48pm near Lomeshaye Road, two crews from the town were called to the Leeds and Liverpool canal after a small vessel caught fire.

A fire service spokesman said: "On arrival, crews found a fire involving a small recreational boat which was well alight.
"Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire and were on scene for 40 minutes.
"There no injuries or rescues reported and an investigation is now underway."
