A MILK truck overturned on a rural road sparking fears that its contents could leak into drains and waterways.
The fire service and police were called to Tinklers Lane, Slaidburn, at around 3.15pm on today after reports that the HGV was on its side.
Fire crews from Barnoldswick and Clitheroe attended and found that there were no leaks and that the structure remained intact.
They remained at the scene while a recovery vehicle righted the truck.
A second milk truck attended and the contents from the tank were pumped from one to another.
There were no reported injuries in the accident.
