FOLLOW the clouds of hairspray to the Corrupted event at The Sir Charles Napier pub in Blackburn tonight, where you will see three of the best Rock 'n' Roll bands the North West has to offer.

Headlining the event are Blackburn glam, punk and garage rock favourites The Exorsisters who will play brand new tunes from their forthcoming demo.

The band's live performances are getting crazier and they have never sounded or looked better, according to Corrupted organiser Mark Worden.

Also playing are The Wasted Angels, one of the hottest young bands to come out of Manchester in recent history.

They reckon their combination of musicianship, killer looks and massive stage presence are "gonna blow you away".

There's also Wigan's The Hicks, formed in 2003 and named after legendary comedian Bill Hicks.

The band reflect Hicks' mantra of honesty and integrity, which is evident both musically and lyrically as they aspire to write music that defies easy categorisation.

Doors open at 8pm and entry is free. Band CDs and merchandise will be on sale.
