Police were called to the incident on High Street, Rishton
AN ELDERLY woman has been taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital following a collision with a car in Rishton.
The collision involved a Ford Fiesta and happened at around 9am on High Street near the William Hill betting office.

The road was closed for more than 30 minutes and the 152 bus was diverted via Junction 7 to Junction 6 at Whitebirk.
The condition of the woman is not thought to be life-threatening.
