A HUGE blaze has swept through a scrapyard in Blackburn for the second time.

Ten fire engines from Blackburn, Bamber bridge and Preston were called to JAP Euro Motors in Sharples Street, in the early hours of this morning where a huge fire that had started in the yard.

Firefighters said eight pumps and an aerial platform were used to extinguish the blaze that took several hours to bring under control.
