A 36-year-old man was taken to hospital suffering from severe back injuries after he fell 20 feet from a tree.
The incident occurred on Monday at 2pm at a house in Clitheroe and he was airlifted to the Royal Preston Hospital.
Emergency crews said the man had been cutting branches from the tree at his home.
