NEW Zealand company Java Dance is to bring its show ‘Back of the Bus’ to six East Lancashire towns this month.
‘Back of the Bus’ is a billed as a 'mystery tour of the unexpected' as dancers propel themselves down the aisles and hang from the roof on the top deck of The Lancashire Way bus, provided by Transdev.
During the week of starting Monday, June 22, the bus will move to a new town each day beginning with Burnley, followed by Darwen, Colne, Accrington, Nelson and finishing in Blackburn on Saturday, June 27.
Tickets are the same price as a regular bus day ticket on The Lancashire Way for the ‘Silver’ area (Lancashire); £6 for adults and £4.20 for under 19s.
The tickets are available directly from the starting venues in each location: Burnley Library, Darwen Library Theatre, The Muni in Colne, Accrington Library, The ACE Centre in Nelson and King George’s Hall in Blackburn.
Full details of the tour are available on the Transdev website by visiting www.lancashirebus.co.uk
