A DRUNKEN man attacked his girlfriend then urinated in a police van, a court was told.
Paul Lee Senior, 28, punched and threatened to kill victim Margaret Flannery after the pair had fallen out over whether his grandma had died, Burnley Magistrates heard.
The defendant, of May Street, Nelson, admitted assault by beating and damage, on March 19.
He was given a four-month jail term, suspended for 24 months, with two years supervision and the domestic violence programme.
He must also pay £65 costs. Julie Reddish, prosecuting, said the victim had been the defendant's partner for two years.
There was an argument and he later found about his gran had not died.
