Daniel talked to the children about his job producing luxury chocolates before the children designed and made their own chocolate lollies.
Daniel set up the business after studying catering, hospitality and patisserie at Blackburn College Academy of Culinary Arts.
As well as producing artisan chocolates, he provides chocolate training at his James Street shop.
Alison Dexter, who is a teaching assistant at the Preston Old Road school, said: “There was a point to the visit as the book all 30 pupils in year three have been reading the book Charlie And The Chocolate Factory.
“Daniel was fantastic and captured the interest of the children.
“It was the first time he had done a demonstration in a school but he was a natural.
“After the talk he melted some chocolate in a microwave and the children were able to make the lollies and decorate then with marshmallows and hundreds and thousands.
“They were left to chill and they were able to take them home as an Easter treat.”
