ANDREW Davidson, who is a deputy head teacher at Ribblesdale High School in Clitheroe, will begin a phased retirement after the East holidays.

In a letter to parents headteacher Stephen Cox said: “Mr Davidson came to Ribblesdale to drive applied learning and created a plethora of learning opportunities outside of the classroom.

“We will miss his contribution.”
