A brave worker had her hair shaved off for charity and raised £170.
Janet Duff, a machinist at textile firm Herbert Parkinson, Darwen, saw her locks chopped off by yarn stockman Charlie Shingadia as part of a charity week organised by the company's parent firm, the John Lewis Partnership.
The company's chosen charity was Young Minds, which helps children and young people suffering from mental health problems.
In total staff raised about £1,400 from events including a quiz and raffle.
