PUPILS at a Blackburn school will next week be immersed in the world of books.
Our Lady of Perpetual Succour RC Primary School has arranged a week-long series of events to mark today's World Book Day, a global celebration of reading.
The 147-pupil Holmbrook Close school will welcome Blackburn comic book artist Tim Perkins, who has worked with Marvel, and Manchester children's writer Philip Caveney, author of Sebastian Darke: Prince of Fools.
Pupils will also visit Roman Road Library and publish a newspaper reporting the highlights of the week's events.
