A TEENAGER has been taken to hospital with two broken shins after he was struck by a car in Oswaldtwistle last night.
The 15-year-old was crossing Stanhill Lane, at around 9pm, when he was in collision with a Citroen C5 vehicle.
Insp Phil Hutchinson, of Lancashire Police said that the youngsters injuries were serious but not life-threatening.
An appeal for witnesses has been made to the incident, with anyone seeing the collision asked to call police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number LC20150327/1445.
