A COLNE man with mental health problems died after a heroin overdose, an inquest heard.
Peter Anthony Rayson, of Cambridge Street, was found slumped on the floor of his flat by a neighbour on December 10 last year.

East Lancashire Coroner Richard Taylor was told that Mr Rayson, 54, was discovered with a used syringe nearby.
His daughter, Michelle Rayson, told Burnley Coroner’s Court her father had long-term drug and alcohol problems and suffered from anxiety.
She said: “He was a good dad. Drugs and alcohol took over his life.”
Traces of alcohol, diazepam, amphetamines, morphine and the prescribed anti-psychotic drug metopimazine were found during a post-mortem.
Recording a verdict of drug and alcohol-related death, Mr Taylor said: “His own personal demons were too much.”
