TAXIS in Accrington were targeted by thieves who made off with cash and a designer handbag.
Police in the town were called by two drivers at different firms, who both reported their windows being smash in Higher Antley Street.

A spokesman said: “The incidents are believed to have occurred at 3.15am.
“We are keen to identify and speak to two males who walked along Higher Antley Street.”
