A COLLEGE sports ace has parted with her locks in aid of a charity which donates hair to child hair-loss sufferers.
Anna Hollingsworth, a sports activator at Nelson and Colne College, had her cut at the Christian Smith salon in Barrowford.

Under the watchful eye of senior stylist Christina Flinn and stylist Mia Sager, Anna’s tresses will be winging their way to the Little Princess Trust.
The organisation fashions child’s wigs and helps the sufferers of any condition, involving hair loss. The charity was established by the parents of Hannah Tarplee, a schoolgirl who endured hair loss through cancer.
Anna was also fundraising for the Prostate Cancer and MacMillan Cancer Support.
