BLACKBURN Soroptimists celebrated their 79th Charter Lunch at the Samlesbury Hotel on International Women’s Day.
More than 70 guests attended the lunch, including 15 presidents of other Soroptimist clubs throughout the region.
Staying at the hotel at the same time as the ladies had lunch were television stars Barry Cryer and Tim Brooke-Taylor.
They both agreed to have a photograph taken with president Viv and her “Chain Gang” – those who are all presidents of their clubs in the same year.
