DANCERS from a Blackburn college will take to the stage at one of the North’s most prestigious theatres.
The group from the dance academy at St Mary’s College is one of just 10 selected to perform at the U.Dance North West Regional Platform 2015 at The Lowry.
They will take part in workshops with professional dancers and choreographers.

The youngsters will then have the opportunity to perform their routine ‘Passers By’ on the Salford stage.
The choreography, created by Sammy Allen with the academy, explores all the people you come face to face with in everyday life and the reactions and interactions that occur.
Sammy said: “It is a fantastic opportunity for them to perform with other youth companies from across the region in such a recognised venue.”
