A CONCERNED dad called police because he believed his estranged partner was drunk when she turned up in her car to collect their children.
Blackburn magistrates heard Brydie Jayne Healey was found to be nearly double the legal limit.

Healy, 23, of Union Street, Rawtenstall, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol. She was banned from driving for 17 months and fined £110 with £105 costs.
Catherine Allan, prosecuting, said Dean Crook said his ex-partner was clearly drunk when she turned up at his Accrington home to collect the children and he didn’t let her drive off.
When police arrived she confirmed she had been drinking that morning and said she was extremely ashamed of herself.
Gareth Price, defending, said the couple had been together for nine years before splitting seven weeks before the incident. He added Healey had suffered a period of emotional upheaval.
