TWO brothers sentenced for a brutal assault on a 41-year-old man in February 2013 have appeared in court facing further charges following his death.
Derek Wildman was left in a vegetative state following the incident in his home in Coleridge Street, Blackburn.

Steven Quigley, 30, was given a life sentence for wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and his brother Gary, 44, sentenced to 20 months in prison for the lesser charge of inflicting grievous bodily harm in October 2013.
Steven has now been charged with the murder of Mr Wildeman and Gary with manslaughter.
Steven, who is still serving his life term, was sent in custody to Preston Crown Court and Gary was sent on bail.
Mr Wildeman suffered multiple fractures to his face and head and had to undergo complex surgery.
