A NURSERY worker was sent a special video message from chart toppers McBusted after she became too ill to attend their concerts.
Jennifer Miller was due to see her idols in Manchester next weekend, to celebrate her birthday, but was forced to cancel after being diagnosed with acute promyeloid leukaemia (APML) – which affects just one in 100,000 people.
Instead, she turned 21 on Friday in an isolation unit at The Christie hospital, where she is recovering from a gruelling course of chemotherapy.

Her friends and family launched a social media campaign to try and make the boys aware of Jennifer’s plight.
And although the group, an amalgamation of McFly and Busted, could not visit her because they are on tour, they took time out to film a special video message – after being contacted by the Lancashire Telegraph.
In the video, stars from the band said: “Hi Jenny, we just wanted to send you lots of McBusted love.”
Jennifer’s mum, Alison, said: “She has followed them for years.
“She talks about them like they are part of the family and she is one of their biggest fans.
“The video absolutely made her day. She has been really poorly these last few days and it really cheered her up.”
Jennifer, who works at Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School (QEGS), began to feel ill towards the end of a holiday in Egypt last month.
In the early hours of Sunday, February 15, she was admitted to Royal Blackburn Hospital, where tests revealed the cancer .
Doctors at the hospital have told the family although the cancer is rare, the prognosis is looking good .
Jennifer has also been sent signed photographs of Daniel Radcliffe and Ed Sheeran.
