AN Accrington woman who died aged 50 was last seen shortly after taking heroin, a court heard.
Tuesday’s inquest into the death of Andrea Pemberton, of Spindle Berry Court, was opened and adjourned by coroner Michael Singleton.

The court was told how Ms Pemberton was found unresponsive on Wednesday, February 25, by a friend.
She was last seen the night before “after taking a quantity of heroin”, the inquest was told.
A cause of death was withheld pending histology and toxicology results. The inquest will be resumed on Wednesday, April 29.
