WHALLEY Range Post Office, in Blackburn, could be relocated to a new venue.
The Post Office is consulting on moving the facilities into the KQG Store, 100 metres from where it is currently located.
Suzanne Richardson, regional manager, said the move would offer a “modern open-plan local-style branch” with extended opening hours.
Should the move go ahead, the branch would open from 7am to 10pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm on Saturday and from 9am to 9pm on Sunday. This would offer an extra 54 hours and of Post Office service every week.
The consultation will close on April 23. Submissions can be made by sending your views by Freepost YOUR COMMENTS to Post Office Ltd, via email to comments@postoffice.co.uk, via the customer helpline on 08457 22 33 44 or Textphone 08457 223355.
Alternatively, Customers can also share their views online by fill in a n online questionnaire at www.postofficeviews.co.uk with the branch code 384427.
