A website claimed last week that the South African restaurant would move into the premises of Walkabout after its closure in mid-March was confirmed.

A spokesman for the popular chicken chain, however, denied the rumours.
A Facebook group was set up in 2013 with the aim of bringing a Nando's restaurant to Burnley - but it looks as if the efforts were made in vain.
