A TAXI driver with a Rossendale Council licence has been prosecuted as part of a sting operation around Manchester United home games at Old Trafford.
Hackney carriage driver Fazal Ur Rahman, 34, was caught picking up a fare and driving without insurance.

Rahman, of Belmont Road, Bolton, pleaded guilty to illegal plying for hire and driving without insurance at Trafford Magistrates Court on February 13.
He was fined a total of £240, given six penalty points on his licence, ordered to pay costs of £492.61 and a victim surcharge of £20.
The conviction follows checks conducted at the end of the Manchester United game against West Ham United on September 27.
He was one of a number of drivers approached by two Trafford Council officers posing as potential customers, while parked on Chester Road.
