A MAN described as behaving like a drunken yob agreed with his victim’s description of him.
Blackburn magistrates heard that Steven Gary Haynes, 20, had thrown an A-board at a member of staff at Morrisons when she told him and his friends they were too late to be served and removed bottles of wine from them.

Haynes, of Central Drive, Blackpool, pleaded guilty to assaulting Victoria Firth and damaging a window. He was made subject to community supervision for 12 months, ordered to do 150 hours’ unpaid work and pay £100 compensation to Mrs Firth.
Alex Mann, prosecuting, said Haynes and two friends had entered the store on New Year’s Eve after closing time.
They were drunk and had been told they could not be served because the tills had closed.
Gareth Price, defending, said Mrs Firth had described Haynes as a drunken yob.
Mr Price said: “He does not disagree with that description. He did not remember the incident because of the amount he had to drink but he accepts what the witnesses say.”
Haynes was living in Blackburn at the time of the offence.
