A spokesman for King George’s Hall said: “We are very proud to present the annual BwDBC Schools’ Celebration of Dance where children from across the borough take to the stage for two evenings of amazing, alacritous dance performances.

“From reception class pupils to GCSE and college students we are looking forward to a carnival of colour, music and movement.

“With schools developing their own ideas based on this year’s theme of ‘technology’ we are anticipating a superfluity of creativity and imagination and a fantastic, fun-filled evening for performers and spectators alike.

“We look forward to seeing you there and we hope you enjoy the show.”

Council leader Kate Hollern said: “It is great that all the schools can come together like this and that we have a marvellous venue in which to host them.

“To see the children up there dancing and enjoying themselves is absolutely wonderful and I am sure there are a lot of very proud parents out there in the audience.”

Tickets are available for tonight’s performance and cost £3.75 for adults, £3 for pensioners and 13 to 16-year-olds, £1.50 for two to 12-year-olds and £10 for a family of four. To book, visit the hall or call 0800 8471664.
