A ROCK band whose Blackburn concert was plagued with pyrotechnics has warned fans not to bring the devices to future gigs.
Manchester indie four-piece The Courteeners made the appeal after Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service branded some fans' behaviour at King George's Hall on Monday as 'extremely dangerous'.

A statement posted on the group's official Facebook page said: "We've been advised by authorities and venues that if any smoke bombs or flares are let off at our gigs then we must stop the show. Do not bring them to gigs."
At a meeting of Blackburn with Darwen full council forum, leisure boss Coun Damian Talbot said: "The gig was sold out but some people got carried away and acted in a very irresponsible manner. There were no flares but there were smoke bombs. The police said it was very well-handled by the Hall's staff."
Around half a dozen smoke bombs were let off in the 4,100-strong crowd at the Northgate venue on Monday night while fire crews across the county were on strike.
