PARENTS with children at St Peter’s Church of England Primary School in Accrington have been asked to wait outside at home time.
In a letter, the school said some parents had been knocking on the window before school finishes, asking pupils to open the door and let them inside to wait.
It said: “This is a serious breach of security as all the children are told they must not open external doors under any circumstances.
“Any child found to be opening doors to let parents in — even their own — would be in serious trouble, and we are sure that you would not want your child, or anyone else’s child, to be in trouble for your impatience.”
Parents who need access to the school before classes end for the day should use the main entrance to go to the school office.
