A LANE was closed on the M65 between Accrington and Blackburn yesterday after two vehicles were involved in a collision.

The emergency services were called to the scene between junctions six and seven on the west bound section of the motorway shortly before 2pm.

Part of the outside lane was closed while the car and van were taken to the hard shoulder.

No injuries were sustained by the drivers or passengers of either of the vehicles involved.
