BLACKBURN Rovers stars put in an extra training session last week when they met youngsters at a half-term soccer school.
And the extra practice paid off as Jordan Rhodes, Rudy Gestede and Alex Baptiste all starred in the Ewood Park club’s 3-1 win over Reading on Saturday, the team’s third consecutive victory in their Championship campaign.
The stars joined in with a game of five-a-side during the soccer school at Blackburn Rovers Indoor Centre, next to Ewood Park, and then signed autographs for the youngsters.
Jonny Ellithorn, of Blackburn Rovers Community Trust, said: “It was great to see the players getting involved with the community side of the club.
“They were fantastic role models for the kids and hopefully that will help breed more Rovers fans in the future.”
