A NURSERY closed after several children contracted E.coli has reopened.
Last week, two children at Little Brook Children’s Nursery in Great Harwood were taken to hospital to be treated for the infection.

Two more cases have since been confirmed, but three of the children have been discharged from hospital, while the fourth is receiving treatment.
Grainne Nixon, a nurse consultant in health protection at Public Health England, said investigations were ongoing, adding: “All staff and children at the nursery have now been screened for the infection as a precautionary measure and those children with negative faecal samples have been returning to the nursery.”
