POLICE are appealing for the public’s help to trace a man who has absconded from prison.

Daniel Finn, 30, walked out of Kirkham Open Prison last week.

Officers believe he could be in the Hyndburn area, and may be in Great Harwood.

Insp Graham Marshall said: “He presents no risk to the public but we are keen to return him to custody. I would appeal to Daniel to come forward and hand himself in.”
