A 45-year-old man has appeared before Blackburn magistrate charged in connection with paint spraying on buildings in Blackburn town centre which related to the situation in Palestine.
Thousands of pounds worth of damage was caused to public and private buildings on the night of October 15 when the political comments were painted in black on doors and walls.

Shaun Moore, 45, of Honey Hole, Blackburn, is charged with criminal damage to the Royal Bank of Scotland building, Blackburn Town Hall, Farley's Solicitors, Blackburn Museum and Art Gallery, the Citizens Advice Bureau and Blackburn magistrates court.
Because of the link to the magistrates court the case was transferred to Preston magistrates court where Moore will appear on November 5.
