BURNLEY council leisure boss Bea Foster is urging people to buy up the last tickets for the borough’s big ‘Bonfire Night’ celebration tomorrow.
The events starts at 6.30pm complete with funfair and fireworks at Towneley Hall.
Organisers have teamed up with international multi-award winning firework display company Pyro 2000 to make sure this event goes with a ‘bang’.
The Huddersfield firm has organised major festivals abroad and in the UK, including the spectacular Edinburgh Tattoo.
Experts in their field, the company has put together an impressive lights and music show.
There will also be a funfair for all ages which will open at 6.30pm.
Junior fireworks are scheduled to start at 7.30pm, and the main firework display will kick off at 8.30 pm.
Tickets to this year’s bonfire and firework extravaganza are available from the Mechanics, Towneley Hall and St Peter’s and Padiham leisure centres.
Prices are £2 for one person, or £6 for a family.
Tickets, including parking and entrance fees (up to four people), are also available.
These are priced at £10 and will be on sale until 5pm on Wednesday.
Coun Foster said: “Bonfire Night at Towneley is one of our town’s most popular annual events and this year it is going to be bigger and better than ever before.
“ I’d like to encourage everyone to come along and enjoy a spectacular event.”
