A PIONEERING Sight Loss Information Service will be visiting Haslingden, Great Harwood, and Rawtenstall later this month.
The mobile service, run by national charity Action for Blind People, will open its doors to people interested in or affected by visual impairment.
The service carries the latest technology and gadgets to improve daily life, from vibrating bank note detectors to talking microwaves and tin lids.
Jean Slater from the charity said: “Everybody is welcome to come along to visit us on the mobile. Whether you are visually impaired or know somebody who may be having problems with their sight, please pay us a visit and pick up information.
“Visitors can try out a wide range of daily living aids or the latest computer and magnification technology.”
The unit will be at the Hindle Street car park, at the back of Haslingden Library from 10am until 4pm on Tuesday, November 18, at the side of Great Harwood Library in Queen Street from 10am until 4pm on Wednesday, November 19, and in Rawtenstall town square from 10am until 4pm on Thursday, November 20.
