PREPARATIONS are well advanced for Blackburn’s biggest bonfire party at Witton Country Park.
Blackburn Round Table, Lions and Rotary Club have worked together throughout the year to put on this fantastic event to the people of Blackburn with Darwen on Saturday, November 8 from 5pm-8pm. The cost of this year’s bonfire event has been held yet again at only £1 children, £2 adults.
It is a £5 family ticket (two adults and up to for children).

The group said: “All we now need the people of Blackburn with Darwen to turn out in big numbers to support us and our chosen charities for this year.
The proceeds will go to the Lifeline Project, Samaritans and NSPCC.
Blackburn Round Table organised a Guy Fawkes competition for schools, organisations or families to enter. The winners’ Guy will take pride of place on top of the bonfire.
