REEVA Steenkamp's mother has said in an interview that she has forgiven her daughter's killer – but she still does not believe his version of events.
June Steenkamp, 68, who grew up in Blackburn, said she believed her daughter, who had been dating Oscar Pistorius for less than three months, had 'nagging doubts about their compatibility' and felt the relationship was coming to an end before she was shot dead on Valentine’s Day last year.

In an interview she revealed she had forgiven Pistorius, despite believing Judge Thokozile Masipa made 'a mistake' with her final verdict.
Mrs Steenkamp said she does not believe the Olympic athlete’s version of events, but thinks instead that the couple had a fight, that Reeva thought they were not well suited and was going to leave.
Mrs Steenkamp told the newspaper: “You have to move forward with forgiveness, otherwise you carry all that hate in your heart. So I have forgiven.
“It’s got nothing to do with how I feel about the case, it’s just something I’m compelled to do.”
