The former Lancashire Telegraph business of the Year, whose motto is ‘bringing light to life’, is already making great strides in the region after landing a £5million contract to light up Muscat International Airport in Oman.

Its technology also adorns Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest tower in Dubai, the Bitexco Tower in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and the Olym-pics Bridges at the Olympic Stadium in London.

Light Middle East’s Future Zone is seen as the premier event for the lighting industry in the region and offers a platform to manufac-turers, architects, des-igners, consultants and engineers.

Acda has also launched an office in Dubai to service the Middle East, Asia Pacific, Australia and India with sales, design and technical support.

And acdc’s latest LED offering, the FUSION flood light, has been named as a finalist for Most innovative Product of the Year at the awards.

Head of international sales Chris Rimmer, who heads up the Dubai office, said: “This is our second consecutive year exhibiting in the Future Zone of Light Middle East and we are truly at home in this arena given our unique approach to LED technology.”

The focal point of acdc’s exhibition stand will be their four product line categories of down-lights, linear, flood and accent luminaires.

Selected products have been incorporated with-in the stand to demonstrate how effec-tive it looks.

Mr Rimmer added: “We feel that it is really im-portant to support the Light Middle East exh-ibition, to raise the pro-file of lighting within the region.

“The Middle East offers a hugely exciting lands-cape for lighting at the moment.

“Middle East specifiers are looking for a more intelligent means of lighting, and acdc’s LED solutions are perfect for this.”
