PEOPLE are being asked to submit their comments on the proposed site for a gypsy and traveller site in the Chorley area.
In September, Chorley Council put forward a site at Cowling Farm for a minimum of five permanent traveller pitches.
Coun Alistair Bradley, the council leader, said: “This consultation is part of the process to ensure that we comply with the timetable set out by the Planning Inspectorate to move our Local Plan to formal adoption early next year.
“This offers people a chance to have their say on this specific element of the plan and the consultation will run until December 3.
“All comments made at previous stages will be taken into account by the Inspector.
“Views are only being sought if you consider that the ‘Schedule of Proposed Modifications’ raises something new.”
The documents are available for inspection at the Chorley Council Offices at Union Street, which are open Monday to Friday, from 8.45am until 5pm.
