A FORMER restaurant building in Burnley could be turned into a takeaway, if planners agree.
Arshad Khan, of Rosegrove Lane, has applied for permission to convert K - Babo, in Sandygate, which has been ‘vacant for many years’, documents lodged with the council said.
The building also housed a taxi office.
Five to six on-street parking spaces have also been applied for.
Plans show seating on both the ground and first floor, grills and a salad bar in the kitchen, a lobby, food lift, and toilets.
The documents will be examined by the borough council’s planning officers.
