MORE than £4,000 worth of grants could be approved for three parish councils on Tuesday.
Ribble Valley Council’s policy and finance committee will vote whether to provide the money to Billington and Langho, Chipping and Longridge parishes.
Billington and Langho had asked for £1,100.49 towards the cost of maintaining burial grounds, £2,614.81 for litter collection and £2,262.61 for parks and play areas.
The parish council could be set to receive £1,494.47 instead, alongside £2,100 for Longridge Town Council which had previously applied for a total of £8,400 in grants.
Chipping Parish Council applied for £438.07 but the borough said it could receive £192.50.
The borough calculates the amount of money that would be given at a rate of 25 per cent of what was originally asked for.
