GAWTHORPE Hall is full of ‘ghoulish goings-on’ for Hallowe’en.
Families can head over to Padiham’s stately home of the Shuttleworth family this half-term holiday for special seasonal activities to make them shiver and shake.
Children can make a spooky spoon puppet for stirring the cauldron or create their own magic spell.
Alternatively, they can follow the pumpkin trail round the historic rooms of the hall.
The ‘horrid Hallowe’en’ activities will be on offer at Gawthorpe Hall on Wednesday, October 29 from 1pm to 4pm.
It costs £2 per child to take part in the ghostly activities and to join in the fun.
They can drop in anytime between 1pm and 4pm.
The activities are mostly suitable for children aged five and upwards, but they will try to involve younger children as well.
All children must be accompanied by an adult to the event.
Hall manager Rachel Pollitt said: “We’ll have creative activities that are suitable for the whole family.
“Come along and join us for some spooky Hallowe’en activities in this wonderful building and enjoy yourselves.”
