BOYS and their toys.
Those were the words on everyone’s lips when a special scalextric event was held in Clayton-le-Moors.
The Hyndburn cluster of Children’s Centres run by Lancashire County Council came together to encourage dads to get involved in fun games with their children.
The event held at Spark Road Batist Church was a huge success, organisers said.
Tim Grose, Clayton-le-Moors and Altham Children’s Centre manager said: “The whole point of the event was to try and encourage dads to get involved with the centre.
“We often have lots of mums who come and use the centre and we just wanted to let our dads know we are here too.”
